Visa Friendly Country

Visitors for 68 countries and special administrative region are automatically granted permission to enter the Kingdom of Thailand. Additionally of 17 countries can apply for a “Visa on arrival” at the immigration Hall in all Thai international airports and border checkpoints.

Airport Transfer: Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)

Airport Rail Link: The fastest way to get into central Bangkok within half an hour. Airport Rail Link station is located on the B floor of Suvarnabhumi Airport operates from 05.30-24.00 daily. The two out of eight stations are connected directly to the Bangkok Public Transportation namely:

  • Makkasan station connect to MRT Phetchburi station (underground)
  • Phaya Thai station connects to BTS Phaya Thai station (skytrain)

Airport Taxi: The meter taxis are available on the Level 1 at Suvarnabhumi Airport throughout the day. The passengers need to get the queue ticket and wait to be called. The surcharge of 50THB must by pay to the driver in addition to the fare shown by the meter at the end of the journey.

Airport Shuttle Bus – Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Muang International Airport: The white buses with storage area for luggage inside and no pre-booking is required are the most convenient with free of charge service provide to all visitors who need to reach Don Muang International Airport directly from Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Airport Transfer: Don Muang International Airport

Airport Taxi: Located outside the Arrival Halls (International and Domestic Terminals). Metered fare applies, plus a 50 THB airport surcharge. Tollway and expressway fees, if used, are payable by the passenger.

Airport Buses: At Don Muang Airport, buses park in front of the Arrival Hall on the first floor of Terminal 1 (Exit No. 6). Bus ticket can be bought on board. Bus ticket price depends on the route and can be 30 THB or 50 THB per person for a one-way trip.

The MRT Red Line: Heading to the city? The MRT Red Line links directly to Bang Sue Grand Station in Bangkok. It’s just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the airport—just follow the “MRT Red Line” signs. Tickets cost between 12 and 42 THB. Trains arrive every 15 minutes, and they run daily from 5 AM until midnight, so you’ve got plenty of travel flexibility.
